Number 1
Jesus loves you.
God made you on purpose, knows everything about you, and loves you anyway. His love isn’t based on your performance, your past, or how well you’ve kept it together.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16, New International Version)
Number 2
Jesus died for you.
The Bible is honest: all of us have gone our own way, and our sin creates a gap between us and God. We couldn’t fix it ourselves, so Jesus lived the perfect life you couldn’t and bore the cross you deserved. He took your penalty on the cross so you could be forgiven. Fully.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:23, New International Version)
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8, New International Version)
Number 3
Jesus rose again.
The cross wasn’t the end. Three days later, Jesus walked out of the tomb. Death doesn’t get the last word, and He is alive right now, ready to have a real relationship with you. Not just a religion. A relationship.
“…that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”
(1 Corinthians 15:4, New International Version)
Believing is more than agreeing with a few facts. Agreement isn’t allegiance. Receiving Jesus means you say yes to Him: “I trust You, I’m turning from my way, and I want to follow You.”
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
(John 1:12, New International Version)
If you’re ready, you can pray this out loud right now. These aren’t magic words. God is looking at your heart, not your vocabulary.
Jesus, I believe You love me. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I’m sorry for the ways I’ve lived my own way. Today I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Help me follow You. Thank You for making me Your child. Amen.
